Conditions of Tender

Acceptance of any tender will be subject to those conditions of tender and any additional conditions specified by the Stallion Owner.
Minimum tender bid of $110 (inc GST) or 30% of stallion's normal stud fee applies. All tender bids are inclusive of GST.
Tenders must be lodged no later than 5pm on 31st July 2008.
In the event that two tenders for the same amount are received for the same stallion, the tender which was lodged on the earlier date shall be the preferred tender.
Successful tenderers will be notified within 14 days of the closing date.
Service is to be used during the 2008 breeding season.
Acceptance of any tender shall be at the sole discretion of the APSB Victorian Branch Committee.
In the event of your tender being accepted, payment must be made to to the Victorian Branch of the APSB in full within 7 days of acceptance.
On receipt of payment, the Committee will advise the Stallion Owner of the successful bidder
Where Live Foal Guarantee applies - if the mare shall abort or if the foal shall not stand and nurse, the mare owner may return the mare for the 2009 breeding season only without payment of a service fee provided that the mare owner provides the stallion owner with a certificate from a veterinary surgeon confirming that the mare aborted following a 45 day positive test in foal or that the foal did not stand and nurse.
Where Free Return applies - if the mare shall abort , the mare owner may return the mare for the 2009 breeding season only without payment of a service fee provided that the mare owner provides the stallion owner with a certificate from a veterinary surgeon confirming that the mare aborted following a 45 day positive test in foal
A handling fee will apply if a mare returns in the 2009 breeding season on any Stallion that offers a Live Foal Guarantee or Free Return.
It is the responsibility of the mare owner to confirm that the mare is free from contagious disease and is in normal breeding condition.
The Stallion Owner and APSB Victorian Branch Committee accepts no responsibility for any accident, death or injury to the mare or any foal at foot whilst on the Stallion Owner's property.
The mare may not be released from the Stallion Owners property until all outstanding agistment and vet costs have been paid in full.
The mare owner agrees to pay agistment accounts within 30 days of receipt and prior to collection of the mare from the Stallion Owner's property.
The mare owner agrees to pay all veterinary accounts related to the mare direct to the veterinary surgery that has rendered an account for the treatment of the mar.
The mare owner agrees to abide by any delivery conditions imposed by the Stallion Owner.
Should the stallion die or become unfit for service, this agreement shall become invalid and the APSB Victorian Branch shall refund the full tender price.
In lodging a tender, you agree to accept the conditions of tender and any conditions imposed by the Stallion Owner.
