Showing APSB Ponies
If you are just starting out with your first APSB pony, listed below are the standard showing rules that apply to each breed of pony. You need to ensure that you follow these closely as there are a number of breeds for instance that do not allow clipping and if you try to enter a class for that breed, you may find yourself at the end of the line, even if you have the best pony...
The Australian Pony Stud Book Society has nine breeds including the Australian Pony, Shetland Pony, Welsh Pony, Dartmoor Pony, New Forest Pony, Hackney Pony, Highland Pony, Connemara Pony and Fjord Horse as well as two registers; APSB Riding Ponies and Part-Bred Ponies. There are rules governing how each of these breeds should be presented. The rules and regulations below will summarise how they should appear for a Horse Show, Dressage or Showjumping competition, Pony Club or Stud Show.

Judging APSB Ponies
Each branch of the APSB has a judges list specifying which breed each person listed can judge. If you are running APSB classes at your event, it is preferred that you select people from the list below.
Please refer to the list below for the current judges list for
all APSB ponies.
