APSB Insurance Coverage Policy
Click here to see what insurance coverage the APSB has.
As you will see in the document above, members are not covered for any personal accidents that may happen at an APSB sponsored event. If you want personal accident insurance, you may need to take out you own personal policy, or you can review the EFA's (Equestrian Federation of Australia) insurance. By becoming an EFA member, you gain personal accident insurance - but please ensure you read all the details prior to becoming a member.

You will notice that with your Membership Renewal, members are no longer required to pay an Insurance Levy. As part of your Membership, every member will be required to sign the Waiver Form attached to the Renewal, thereby making it unnecessary for further Waiver Forms to be signed at any APSB event.
It should also be noted that it is no longer a requirement for any person officially part of that members showing team to sign a waiver or pay a fee.
APSB Groups who conduct events and allow non-members to participate must ask non-members to sign a waiver form, however, there is no fee for non-member participation.
If you need more information, please contact the Secretary.
